There are three levels to education in San Pedro La Laguna.  Approximately half of the schools here are public and half private until diversificado.  All the diversificado schools are private.  The student chooses a speciality in diversificado.  The specialties are: accounting, education, business administration, bilingual secretary, office secretary, bachelors in tourism, bachelors in computers, and automotive mechanics.
